Hello and welcome to The Maths Booth.

 

My name is Daniel Booth, I am a KS3 & KS4 mathematics teacher with 8 years of teaching experience, 4 of which as deputy head of maths. As a passionate educator, I strongly believe that every student has the potential to succeed in mathematics. My goal is to make learning math an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for everyone.

I have had the opportunity to work with students of various backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles. This exposure has enabled me to develop a flexible and adaptive teaching approach that caters to individual needs and maximises student growth.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a strong foundation in mathematical concepts. I emphasise conceptual understanding, rather than rote memorisation, as it enables students to apply their knowledge to real world situations. I believe that by connecting mathematics to everyday life, students can better appreciate its relevance and develop a deeper appreciation for the subject.

For the previous 8 years I have delivered private tuition and I am now thrilled to introduce my tutoring website, where I, alongside a network of experienced Maths tutors, can help students excel in their mathematical journey. Myself and the team work closely with students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. I am confident that our passion for mathematics, combined with teaching expertise, will make a positive difference in your mathematical journey.
